The Virtua Fighter series gets a new lease on life along with greatly improved graphics. 6 Characters (Akira, Aoi, Kage, Lau, Wolf & Pai) are returning from Virtua Fighter 3, plus a new male character (Lei-Fei) and a new female character (Vanessa Lewis) check screen shots for details.

Final Tuned was the final update of Virtua Fighter 4 and includes some minor gameplay fixes, new stages and customisation items.

As in the original Tekken Tag Tournament, matches involve each player selecting two fighters to fight with. Players are able to switch their fighters out at any time, allowing the inactive character to gradually recover some life they might have lost. At certain points, an inactive character's life bar may flash, giving them a temporary boost in strength if they are tagged in. If the life bar of either of a player's fighters runs out, that player loses the round. If time runs out, the player who has the most cumulative life remaining amongst their fighters wins the round.

2012 is an update for Super Street Fighter Arcade Edition. Minor tweaks and adjustments have been made to nearly every character, while other characters such as Gouken, Yun, Yang, Evil Ryu, Fei Long and Hakan have been significantly changed in order to address global balance issues.

Street Fighter IV features the return of favorites Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Dhalsim, Blanka, E.Honda, Guile and Zangief. The characters and environments are rendered in 3D, while the game is played in the classic Street Fighter 2D perspective.
